Centre Wellington Minor Lacrosse Association is pleased to announce a new local league program starting in the 2019 season.


This program varies from the traditional house league programs that have been offered in the past. Players will play in the regular local league season that runs from April until the end of June. After which they will have the opportunity to continue practicing with their team, play some travel exhibition games with teams of similar calibre, and even tournaments.

  • Focus on skills development
  • Focus on skills development
  • Teaching the sport of lacrosse
  • Teaching the sport of lacrosse
  • One hour practice a week with scrimmage against the same players
  • A half hour practice followed by a game with different teams
  • Combined multiple levels of players spanning 4 years of age
  • Appropriate levels based on age of players
  • No contact permitted
  • Realistic game like play with controlled contact
  • No travel games or tournaments
  • Local travel (Kitchener/Guelph/Cambridge)
  • Season is finished when school ends
  • Season is finished when school ends with the option to play travel games and tournaments
  • No end of season tournament
  • Big end of season tournament
 

Registration for the 2019 local league season will be $280, and will be available based on sufficient registrations.
