Rising Stars Championship Comes to Centre Wellington
Submitted By Nathan Joyes on Wednesday, August 18, 2021
This weekend, the best of Ontario U17 lacrosse converge to Centre Wellington for some of the best lacrosse we've seen in close to two years!

The top 6 teams that qualified from last weekend include Mimico, Guelph, Nepean, Centre Wellington, Brampton and Orangeville.

Your CW U17 boys club continued to get better and better, as they got to know each other during qualifiers last weekend. Closing the weekend in second place in their grouping we expect the boys to do well.

Playing at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex, capacity is huge, so let's pack the barn to show this team our support as they battle for the top spot in Ontario. A screening will be required at the door and masks worn inside at all times.

Games start Friday at 11:30 am playing through the weekend until the championship game Sunday at 3:30 pm. Full schedule can be found HERE.

Best of luck to the boys this weekend, and know that all of CW is behind you!
