2021 Lacrosse Season Paused
First, there was the emergency brake, a few days later, an Ontario wide shutdown, all as your CWMLA executive was ready to open up registration to a heavily modified 2021 lacrosse season. Not surprising anyone, we've had to pause the game.
Not unlike you, our executive was extremely disappointed by the news that came from the office of the Ontario Premier.
But, it seems like your CWMLA executive team has entered a cheat code for infinite lives. With each program that has been planned this year and then uprooted, they come together afterwards and start again. Sometimes at a save point, sometimes at the beginning of the level.
At this point, it is not clear what the province will look like May 24 weekend, but you can count on your executive to be working for you to ensure we can all finish this game strong.
In the meantime, make sure you get your household out to take advantage of the fantastic weather that we are having. If you don't have a lacrosse net at home and want to take some shots, make sure you take advantage of the nets out in the community at Forfar, South Ridge, Bissel park and behind the Fergus arena.
Until we can play again.
