Did you know, there are 400 Varieties of Oranges?
Submitted By Nathan Joyes on Sunday, March 21, 2021
My favourite is when Orange comes from the Red zone in the provincial reopening framework. Together as a community, our diligence in reducing the spread of COVID-19 has paid off, and the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Health Unit will be moving into the Orange Zone on Monday!

That is great news for our lacrosse community as it is one more check on the to-do list of things as we get ready to play again.

Your CWMLA executive has poured in an immense amount of time preparing the return to play program for all players.

The current plan has us kicking off the season after our April March break right into tryouts for the season. Once teams are formed, and a two-week team quarantine completed we get right the first leg of games for the season. After another team quarantine, we will mix up the teams, and play another four weeks, wrapping up around the August long weekend.

We are still awaiting the OLA on a couple of things before we can release fee schedules and open registration.

Your CWMLA executive hopes that you are as pumped about Oranges as we are right now!
