OLA Releases Return to Activity Plan
Hard to imagine that in just over a month we would normally be in full swing of lacrosse tryouts. That is still the plan, just a little different this year.
Some of you may have seen the recently released plans for return to activity released by the OLA. This detailed document aligns well with the CWMLA framework released at the start of the year, so there aren’t many surprises. BUT, we do have a number of questions!
Zone 8 has a scheduled town hall meeting for March 8th with representatives from the OLA to discuss the plan, and clarify the parts that seem unclear.
Your CWMLA executive continues to work hard to position us to be responsive to the current level of the Ontario Reopening framework for Wellington Dufferin Guelph Health Unit. As we continue to put pieces of the plan together, we are excited about the powerhouse coaches that we will soon be able to release for 2021. We have also started working out plans together with surrounding centres for interlock play through the summer.
If you have any questions about the upcoming box or field lacrosse season, please feel free to email [email protected] with any questions.
