CWMLA’s 2020 Vanellope von Schweetz
Some
might remember the 2012 film Wreck-It Ralph featuring Vanellope von
Schweetz or the Glitch. Eight years later and CWMLA has had their own
Vanellope von Schweetz.
Because
of a glitch in our registration, the 2020 Grip-It and Rip-It skills
camp has been over-booked by 114%. Over the past few days our executive
team has been working towards a resolution to this fantastic problem of
so many players being interested in lacrosse before the start of the
season.
Instead of having to travel to the Guelph Ball hockey rink, we’re moving back home to Fergus and Elora.

Each player registered, and everyone else within the association now have the opportunity to get on the floor in a supervised open format to get their stick in their hand before the start of the season. Players aged peewee and up may wear helmets and gloves, all other players require full equipment.
Admission to the CWMLA Grip-It and Rip-It skills camp is by
food bank donation.
For those looking for more stick-in-hand time our partner ForgeX is also having a 5 week Spring Lacrosse Skills Clinic open on Sundays from March 8th to April 5th for $90 +HST, or $20 HST included drop in.
