Field Coaches Wanted! Let's boost the CW Field Lacrosse program in 2020!! We hope to run programs this year from U9 to U17.In order for all of this to be accomplished though we need volunteers! If you are interested in coaching please send an email as soon as possible to [email protected] CWMLA will pay for required training at upcoming clinics. If you have any other feedback on how you think we can make our field program more successful please reach out to any of our Board members at https://cwmla.com/staff

This year CW Minor Field will be out at Marden starting Saturday January 18th. Other times have been booked for February 1, 15 and 22 and March 7th. To encourage participation from all our Mohawk players we will be offering all players new and old the ability to try field lacrosse for free at our January 18th session in Marden.

Field lacrosse is the fastest growing game in North America at every level. It is becoming a sport played in high schools, colleges and universities across North America. Field lacrosse can even now be found at our local CW High School.

The field season runs for approximately 6 weeks April-May with tryouts and practices taking place January - March. The game is played outdoors on either an artificial turf surface or on natural grass in a tournament style setting over 6 weekends. U9, U11 and U13 Teams play 6 weeks of round robin games on Saturdays. U15 and U17 Teams play 6 weeks of round robin play on Sundays. The field season ends with Field Provincials, traditionally in Brampton, on the May long weekend. Field Coaches will coordinate playing times with Box coaches. Additional information can be found on the Ontario Minor Field Lacrosse League's website: https://www.omfll.com/
