Carter has had a busy summer traveling to Baltimore, Philadelphia and Richmond. He was named to all the all-star team at both the Big 12 Tournament in Baltimore and the Warrior National Prospect Invite in Richmond. Carter has been playing box and field lacrosse in Centre Wellington since the age of 6, played this summer with our midget 1 team, and has over five years experience playing with Edge Lacrosse out of Oakville.

He recently returned from Richmond, Virginia where he participated in the 2017 Brine National Lacrosse Classic and the Warrior National Prospect Invite. The Brine National Lacrosse Classic brings over 2500 athletes from 26 states and provinces together for elite level field lacrosse competition over four days. Starting back at the April try-outs, Carter was selected to represent Ontario at the Brine National Lacrosse Classic held July 18-21, 2017. The Ontario team performed very well but lost a close semi-final game to a strong Carolina team that went on to win the National title.

Carter was nominated and recommended by his Ontario team coaches to also participate in the Warrior National Prospect Invite July 17-18, 2017. Selection for this elite event is based on athletic ability, academic achievement and community involvement. From all of the nominations, Carter was selected as one of only 80 participants in his age group from across North America. While participating in the 2-day event, Carter was recognized for his level of play and was selected to the Warrior National Prospect Invite All-star team.

Congratulations Carter Centre Wellington Minor Lacrosse Association is very proud of your accomplishments!
