Wednesday afternoon came with the announcement that students in the Upper Grand District School Board will be returning to in person learning come Monday February 8th. A great sign that we are crawling back to normal life pre-COVID!
In 2021 we are hoping to engage representative and house league players for both box lacrosse and field lacrosse this spring, summer, and fall. Your CWMLA executive continues to add details to the 2021 Return-to-Play framework.

It's hard to imagine considering we are currently in a lock down
state, but your CWMLA executive met Monday night to review and approve the
framework for our 2021 return to play.
There are many
different directions that could come out of the season in 2021, but the
framework that they approved will allow us to be flexible and responsive
to the environment that we are in.

Despite the 2020 CWMLA AGM being held virtually it was still interesting. Almost as if 2020 was kicking us once again, as many of those that planned on attending lost power or Internet preventing them from being able to attend. One family ended up bunkering down in a restaurant instead of being able to be at home because of weather.
Even without a regular lacrosse season in 2020 your executive's passion for providing an opportunity for our youth to play shone through!
We are pleased to announce the CWMLA executive for 2021.
